- David Kistler -

Guitar and Background Vocals

Dave started playing music professionally at the age of 12. He worked in assorted New York City area garage bands, playing songs typical of the time such as 'Gloria', 'Louie Louie', and 'Hang On Sloopy'. While in high school he formed his first horn band covering recording artists like Sly and the Family Stone, Ten Wheel Drive, and Rhinoceros. In college, Dave played in a fifties revival band and in an acoustic trio performing original material at local colleges and coffee houses in Greenwich Village. After graduating college with a degree in music composition and theory, Dave traveled to Boston to attend graduate school. There, he taught music, did extensive studio work, and played in various local Boston blues bands. He later moved south to the DC area but maintains his love for the blues and R&B... now with TMD.
